User Agreement

This User Agreement (the "Agreement") governs the relationship between Individual Entrepreneur Mikhail Iniashev (the "Operator") and any person or entity using the Yafers web platform (the "Platform" or "Service"). By registering, confirming registration, making payments or otherwise using the Platform, you (the "User") accept and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

About Yafers

Yafers is a platform for organising and managing registrations for Irish dance events (feiseanna). The Platform provides tools for event organisers to publish competitions, manage age categories, accept registrations, issue invoices and collect online payments. Our service helps parents, teachers and organisers run registrations reliably and transparently.

Key features include:

  • Manage feiseanna, oireachtasai, competitions registrations and age categories
  • Register dancers for the competitions
  • Online payments of event fees
  • Reports and event administration
  • Online payments of WIDA affiliation fees
  • Purchasing of WIDA Ceili Book (digital version)

1. Purpose of the Platform

The Platform provides tools for organising and registering participants in feis events and similar competitions: creating applications, managing registrations, collecting payments, issuing invoices, and providing dashboards and administrative features for organisers.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Registration, payment or any use of the Platform's functionality constitutes your acceptance of this Agreement. If you do not agree with any part of the Agreement, do not use the Platform.

3. Accounts and Security

Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. The Operator may suspend or block access if there is suspicion of unauthorized access or misuse.

4. User Obligations

The User agrees to:

  • provide correct information about themselves and participants;
  • comply with organisers' rules and the Platform's usage policies;
  • not use the Platform for unlawful activities or to infringe third‑party rights.
The Operator is not responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate information supplied by the User.

5. Goods and services offered

On this Platform we provide:

  • Event creation and management tools for organisers (create feiseanna, competitions, rules, age categories).
  • Public registration for dancers and teams (profile + selections per competition).
  • Cart and checkout flow: Yafers fees (platform fees) and competition/administration fees.
  • Invoice generation and basic reporting for organisers.
  • Payment integration (online acquiring) to accept card payments.
6. Payments and refunds

Payments on the Platform are processed via integrated payment providers (for example, Stripe, PayPal, bank acquirers). Payment terms and fees are shown during checkout and/or established by the event organiser.

Platform fee (Yafers fee): The platform fee is non‑refundable under any circumstances.

Competition (feis) entry fees: Competition entry fees are non‑refundable in accordance with WIDA rule 1.6: "Feis entries once paid are non‑refundable (for example in cases of non‑attendance, injury, etc.), irrespective of whether the entry deadline has passed." Refunds will only be issued where an event is cancelled by WIDA or the Feis host. If an organiser or WIDA cancels an event, any refunds (if applicable) will be processed in accordance with the organiser's refund policy. For refund requests or questions about a payment, contact the event organiser listed on the event page with your registration and payment details.

7. Prices and currency

All prices displayed on the site are real prices payable for the selected services. Prices for services provided within the territory of the Republic of Armenia are shown in Armenian drams (AMD) — their display is mandatory for Armenian transactions. When an organiser offers prices in other currencies, the site will show currency and conversion rate where applicable.

Registration fees and payment flow:

  • Yafers platform fee: a fixed fee of 900 AMD is charged per dancer registration. This platform fee covers the operation of the registration service and payment processing facilitation.
  • Competition (entry) fees and any other organiser fees are determined by the feis organiser. These fees are collected and remitted directly to the feis organiser; Yafers only facilitates the payment flow where configured by the organiser and acquiring provider.
  • On checkout the total amount is presented as a split between the platform (Yafers) fee and the competition/organiser fees so that payers clearly see which portion goes to the platform and which is paid to the organiser.
8. Legal limitations
  • All transactions and activities must comply with Republic of Armenia laws and payment system rules.
  • Organisers must not accept payments for activities illegal under applicable law.
  • Payments for competition entries and other organiser fees are collected for the benefit of the feis organisers and are remitted to the organiser (Yafers facilitates the payment flow but does not act as the organiser). Any competition fees shown on the site are charged in favour of the organiser specified on the event page.
  • Responsibility for the organisation, running and conduct of a feis (including schedules, admission rules, refunds in accordance with WIDA, and local arrangements) rests solely with the feis organiser. Participants and payers should direct any organisational or event-specific questions, complaints or refund requests to the organiser listed for the event.
  • Yafers is a platform provider and does not assume organiser responsibilities for events posted by third parties; Yafers' liability is limited to providing the registration and payment facilitation services.
9. Delivery terms

Our platform sells event registrations (digital services). For physical goods (if any sold by organisers) delivery terms are defined by the organiser and must be clearly shown on the event page. Organisers must indicate whether delivery or collection is available and any limitations.

10. Personal Data

Personal data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy available at /privacy. By using the Platform the User consents to the collection and processing of their personal data for provision of services, payment processing and fulfilment of contractual obligations.

We collect and process user data necessary to provide registration and payment services: name, contact, date of birth (for age categories), and payment metadata. We do not store full card PAN or CVV.

Cookies: the site uses cookies for authentication, session management and analytics. Users can control cookie settings in their browser.

11. Website security & card data rules
  • The site uses HTTPS (TLS) for all pages handling personal data and payments.
  • Card payments are performed via a certified payment gateway. Yafers does not directly store card numbers or CVV codes — card data is processed by the organiser's acquiring provider in compliance with PCI DSS.
  • Organisers and any third parties with access to payment flows must comply with PCI DSS and relevant payment system rules.
  • Do not share card details by email or other insecure channels.
12. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is". The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, or loss of data. The Operator's total liability for direct damages, if any, shall be limited to the total fees paid by the User to the Platform in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

13. Suspension and Termination

The Operator may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for breach of this Agreement, unlawful activity or other reasons permitted by applicable law. The User may delete their account; deletion does not relieve the User of obligations that arose prior to deletion (including unpaid fees).

14. Changes to the Agreement

The Operator may amend this Agreement. Updated terms become effective upon publication on the Platform. For material changes, the Operator will make reasonable efforts to notify Users.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
